About Kiyan Electric
A licensed electrical contractor you can hand the keys to
We're a Richmond Hill–based electrical contractor serving the Greater Toronto Area. Our work is ESA-certified, our pricing is written down first, and our name is on every job.
Kiyan Electric is a Licensed Electrical Contractor (ECRA/ESA) based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We handle residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work across the GTA — panel upgrades, EV chargers, wiring, lighting, and everything in between.
Homeowners let a stranger into their house when they hire an electrician. We take that seriously: our electricians are ESA-certified, we carry a Master Electrical Contractor credential, and every job is backed by $5 million in liability insurance and WSIB coverage. When we're done, you keep the ESA Certificate of Inspection for your records.
Most of all, we work the way we'd want someone to work in our own home — explaining what we find in plain language, quoting it before we touch it, and leaving the space clean.
What we stand for
The way we work
-
Safety is the whole job
Electrical work that looks fine can still be dangerous. We work to ESA code and pull the permit whenever a job needs one — because the point isn't a light that turns on, it's a home that stays safe for years.
-
Upfront pricing, in writing
You get an itemized estimate before any work starts. No hourly surprises, no "while we were in there" add-ons you didn't approve. If a repair is all it needs, we'll tell you that too.
-
Licensed and accountable
We're a Licensed Electrical Contractor (ECRA/ESA) carrying $5 million in liability insurance and WSIB coverage. That protects your home and the people working in it.
Credentials
Licensed, insured, ESA-certified
Plain English
What our credentials mean for your job
Trade credentials are alphabet soup until you need one. Here's what each actually does for you.
-
Licensed Electrical Contractor (ECRA/ESA)
The province authorizes us to do electrical work and to pull the permits your job legally needs — not every "electrician" holds this.
-
ESA-certified electricians & ESA permits
The Electrical Safety Authority sets Ontario's wiring standard. Our work is done to it and inspected against it, and you keep the Certificate of Inspection.
-
Master Electrical Contractor
A senior-level qualification that stands behind how the work is planned and signed off — the depth you want on a panel or service change.
-
$5M liability insurance + WSIB coverage
If something goes wrong on your property or a worker is hurt, the coverage responds — the liability sits with us, not with you.
